MANswers?
Here's a brief thing, then:

When ensconsed in a hotel room and watching the telly for the first time in, shit, a very long time, we fetched up on Spike TV's "MANswers" show, which purports to have answers of great interest and importance to men, such as how one could most safely (from prosecution) seek out prostitutes, how to get inebriated as quickly as possible, or the size of breast required to crush a beer can.

It was of considerable interest and consternation that the girrul there was more intruiged by these answers than I.

(PS: The most efficient, gearless inebriation can be had by had by enema. Which I already knew anyway.)

How to seek out prostutes:
1) Get money.
2) Throw money at women.
3) If women refuse to exchange your gift for sex, punch them until they relent.

It was, "How to get them without getting arrested." Which she will be quick to point out is, "Ask them to do nude modelling, as cooze-narcs aren't likely to do that, they ain't got the time."

I am obviously not the target demographic for such programming, but I always look a trifle askance at shows which propose that all male endeavor and interest can be reduced to beer and boobs. There has to be room for mechs in there somewhar.

It was more like they reduced "male" interest to the worst stereotype. Upon reflection, I've become convinced that the show was a satire, perhaps Dworkin's reveeeeeeeennnnnnge from the graaaaaaaaaaave.

I usually get affronted when feminists reduce my gender to a point of absurdity, but this, this was too well-crafted. It was hilarious. I'd highly reccommend taking in ten to fifteen minutes of it, if only for the overly-earnest, somewhat aggressive-sounding announcer's voice.
